That was the very last time I saw her. I remember her face jutting from the thick, billowing smoke. As the blaze roared, she turned and ran.
She stole my heart. I watched it beat in her hand. She smiled at me. Her eyes grew dark. I fell to the ground. My chest felt cold and empty.
Fed my guy nano-laced candy hearts. KISS ME, LUV ME..the bots sealed the deal with MARRY ME. Yum! A blank one..uh, why did I sign a pre-nup?
She told me her heart belonged to me, that is why I keep it on my desk. My co-workers are repulsed because they don’t understand true love.
I forgot the flowers again, so I stalled her with a timestretch VR sim. Five minutes for her, enough time to get roses. Plus chocolate.
